• Wrestling with Life // Lessons from the Life of Jacob (Gym)
Teacher: Bryan Platania

Does life seem like a wrestling match at times? If you answered yes, you are not alone. The Scriptures are replete with individuals who battled their way through obstacles to finally land on a path of obedience. In this class, you will walk through a character study on the most famous wrestler in all of the Scriptures. You will learn how Jacob, one of the forefather’s to the nation of Israel, handled struggles with his paternal family, marriage, business, children, tragedy, death, and even God.

• Knowing Him // Growing with Jesus (Gym)
Teachers: Dan Armstrong and Pastor Jerry

The call of a disciple is to follow after the teacher, replicate his life, and heed his instructions.  As Christians, our call is the same.  We are to live our lives like Christ and obey His commands.  However, as sad as it may be, many Christians have little knowledge of the life Christ lived or the messages He taught.  In this challenging class, you will be guided through a chronological study of the life of Christ. This class is sure to stretch and strengthen your understanding of the real and living Jesus.  After all, if we long to continue growing as disciples, we must never cease in our pursuit of “Knowing Him.”

• Parenting // Growing up Godly Children (Rm 4)
Teachers: Chuck & Beth Ann Plumberg

Are you a parent?  If so, you have been entrusted with a precious gift.  The problem for many is that their wonderful bundle of joy did not come with an instruction manual gently tied to their cute little toe.  Many parents are seemingly raising their children in fear and frustration with no long-term cohesive plan.  Often they may feel that “the fad of the day is worth a try.”  The Plumbergs will draw upon their own experience of raising four boys and utilize an adaptation of the curriculum “Growing Kid’s God’s Way” to help parents gain confidence in raising, developing, discipling, and lovingly disciplining their children.
**Note: Space is limited & there is a $10 book fee.
