Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

Teacher: Joe Heffner
Did you ever wonder what it would have been like to be with Jesus in the upper room as he provided instruction to his confused and frightened disciples? The Apostle John provides us with a first-hand account, and therefore we have the privilege of listening in on our Lord’s parting words. Jesus knew that he was going to be crucified and return to His father in heaven. He knew that the disciples needed to be comforted, encouraged and prepared for the days to come. Our Lord’s instruction in the upper room concerning servanthood, love, bearing fruit, and persecution, as well as the precious promise of his return and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in his absence are as timely today as they were when first uttered. Wonderful “parting” words from a wonderful Savior!

Catching God’s Vision for the Church

Teacher: Pastor Jerry
What does it mean to “catch God’s vision” for the church? To answer this, small group leaders and influential leaders are going to go back and study Paul’s strategy for maturing churches into all that Christ intended for them to become. The Church was to be the center of God’s plan for this age, and what God could accomplish through the church was beyond what anyone could imagine. But to do this, churches needed to mature into the fullness of Christ. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is about that understanding and about how to enter into that fullness with all its accompanying power. Incredible insights will be learned and core convictions formed as we dig into the book of Ephesians and continue our study of the third tier of the First Principles curriculum.

A Tale of Three Kings

Teachers: Don Kreider & Matt Geesaman
Have you ever dreamt of being king or perhaps, you believe you are the king of your domain? Then this is the right class for you. We will take an in-depth look into the lives of three of the most famous kings in Biblical history; Saul, David and Solomon. These were ordinary men whom God made great as they chose to submit to His authority. You will learn of the trials, tribulations, failures and successes that made these men stand out in history. Not only will you gain wisdom from the experiences and lives of these three men, but you will gain a better understanding of how God interacts with His creation.

Growing up Godly Children - CLASS IS FULL

Facilitators: Chuck & Beth Ann Plumberg
Are you a parent? If so, you have been entrusted with a precious gift. The problem for many is that their bundle of joy did not come with an instruction manual. Many parents are raising their children in fear and frustration with no long-term cohesive plan. Often they may feel that “the fad of the day is worth a try.” Chuck & Beth Ann Plumberg will draw upon their own experience of raising four boys and utilize an adaptation of the curriculum Growing Kid’s God’s Way to help parents gain confidence in raising, developing, discipling, and lovingly disciplining their children.

Missions Team Training

Teacher: Laura Beltle
This class is for anyone who is currently signed up for a Global Outreach Team or is interested in being a part of one and going on a short-term mission trip in the future.
